Prospective Students
Thank you for your interest in my research, and joining the SMART Lab. I am looking for students that are self motivated, inquisitive, creative, collaborative, and hardworking. As an advisor, I endeavor to provide my students with the tools, resources, advice, and intellectual flexibility needed to develop into independent scholars. I expect students in my lab to be full and active participants in the intellectual environment of the SMART Lab, and Purdue University.
So, if you are interested in joining the SMART Lab at Purdue University, please send me an email or stop by my office for a chat (Room 245, Knoy Hall). I am happy to talk with you about your interests. Also, please visit the following web pages for information about our graduate program and admissions:

Collaborators, Postdocs and Visiting Researchers
I work collaboratively with a number of roboticists, computational scientists, computer scientists and engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers. The nature of modern research efforts makes this a very profitable way to work. I always welcome new collaborations and new opportunities to work with new people, so please do not hesitate to get in contact with me (email) if you are interested in what we do.
