Lab NEWS & Highlights

September, 2025: Our paper "PRIMT: Preference-based Reinforcement Learning with Multimodal Feedback and Trajectory Synthesis from Foundation Models" has been accepted to NeurIPS 2025 as an Oral presentation! Out of 21,575 submissions, only 77 were selected as an Oral (top 0.35%). Congrats, Ruiqi and Larry!

August, 2025: Join the SMART Lab! We are currently recruiting a fully funded Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Students. Please check HERE for more details.

August, 2025: Great News! Our lab alumni Dr. Wonse Jo has accepted a tenure-track faculty position at Incheon National University (INU). He will be affiliated with the Department of Information and Telecommunication Engineering in INU from Fall 2025. Congrats to Dr. Jo!

August, 2025: The SMART Lab is moving from Purdue University to Indiana University Bloomington! Dr. Min joined IU in Fall 2025 as a Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering.
